iglidur® plain bearings in a lifting mechanism

Self-lubricating and fail-safe

This forklift now works reliably. Previously, the lifting mechanism failed permanently because the bronze bearings were clogged with dirt. In addition, a high maintenance was required since the bearings had to be lubricated. Since replacement of the bronze bearings by iglidur® G plain bearings from igus®, the mechanism has been working without any problems. Thanks to the fact that the bearings are also lubricant-free, the maintenance-related downtimes have been reduced as well.
